Easy Books: Sanya and Senya
A book for initial reading with word syllable division. There are no vowels Ё; consonants Х, Ц, Щ, Ъ are absent.
“Easy Books” is a series of books designed for children who are beginning to read in Russian while also being proficient in a second language. The design of the series takes into account the developmental perception of younger children and offers storylines that resonate closely with them, evoking strong positive emotions and fostering the child’s motivation.
In this book, we start reading words with the soft sign (ь), the letter Й, and Ч; we reinforce reading combinations with soft consonants. It’s important to teach the child to read these combinations correctly to prevent an English accent in their Russian language. Draw the child’s attention to words containing the letter ‘е‘, which is present in both Russian and English languages. Soon, they will be reading confidently and accurately.
This story consists only of the simplest words.
Read with your child! Read and discuss! Read and imagine!
Best of luck!
